The film revolves around 4 youngsters from different parts of Tamil Nadu heading towards Madurai seeking for job presuming the city to be a paradise like Singapore. These youngsters happen to meet a certain point and become acquainted enjoying their lives, until one moment. The moment they discover that their lives close towards culmination. This is the first film to be directly produced by Cloud Nine Productions.Gaurav, who worked as assistant director to filmmaker Maharajan and K.S. Ravikumar makes his debut directorial with this movie. Actors audition was held in Madurai that had 3000 aspiring actors taking part and amongst which 70 were chosen.
The film has ‘Pasanga’ and ‘Kalavani’ fame Vimal in lead role along with ‘Kalloori’ and ‘Nadodigal’ fame Bharani, ‘Renigunta’ Nishanth and director Gaurav himself in main characters. ‘Angaadi Theru’ Anjali will play female lead role opposite Vimal.

Yuvan has also started work on Venkat Prabhu’s Mankatha. “There will be six songs in the film and I’ve composed tunes for five of them. We are yet to have a sitting with the lyricists and finalise on who will be singing which song,” he reveals.For Yuvan, Mankatha is special for various reasons. “I’ve already done four films with Ajith and I want our fifth film to be a huge hit. In fact, Ajith had called me earlier to say that our combination in this film should work wonders at the BO. So, I’m taking extra care while composing.”
Revealing details of the album, he says, “Appa (maestro Ilaiyaraaja) and I are planning to sing a pathos number for the album. While appa will be singing in Tamil, I will be singing the English lyrics.”
Yuvan has also finished work on Bala’s Avan Ivan and Ameer’s Aadhi Bhagavan. “A full-fledged Hindi track, sung by Mohit Chauhan (of Masakkali… fame), will be the highlight of Aadhi Bhagavan,” he adds.

Salman Khan starrer Hindi movie "Dabangg" going is to be remake in Tamil and Telugu. The film has been produced by Arbaazz Khan, the brother of Salman Khan.The hero for Tamil and Telugu not decided yet.
DABANGG SYNOPSIS:
Dabangg is a story of Chulbul Pandey (Salman Khan), a totally fearless but corrupt police officer with unorthodox working methods. But even the most fearless at times face a tough fight with their innermost demons.
Chulbul has had a bitter childhood. His father passed away when he was very young after which his mother Naini (Dimple Kapadia) married Prajapati Pandey (Vinod Khanna). Together, they had a son Makhanchan (Arbaaz Khan).
Prajapati favors Makhanchan which does not go down well with Chulbul. He decides to take control of his destiny and detaches himself from his stepfather and half brother. His sole attachment is his mother.
However after his mother's demise and an unsuccessful attempt to mend wounds, Chulbul snaps all ties with his stepfather and half brother.
Rajo (Sonakshi Sinha) with her unique perspective of life enters his world and turns life upside down. Chulbul starts to see life more positively and also gets sensitized to the value of a family.
But his detractors especially the dubious Cheddi Singh (Sonu Sood) have their own vested interests and emerge as spokes in the wheels, putting one brother against the other. Makhanchan ends up carrying out act oblivious to the consequences. When he realizes he has been used, he turns to Chulbul.

iGate, patni acquisition, merge 2011 share
iGate said it agreed to pay Rs 503.50 a share for a 63 per cent stake in Patni, valuing the deal at $921 million. It will buy an additional 20.6 per cent stake through an open offer to Patni minority shareholders for $301 million.The price of Rs 503.50 a share reflects a premium of 9.4 per cent over Patni's closing price on Friday of Rs 460.10.
The stake is being sold by Patni's three founding brothers, who collectively own 45.6 per cent, and private equity firm General Atlantic, which owns 17.4 per cent, iGate said.
Talks to sell a stake in the software services exporter had been going on for about two years. A deal had been expected to be announced a week ago, but was delayed due to valuation gaps with potential buyers, sources had told Reuters.
iGate Chief Executive Phaneesh Murthy said the acquisition, which is expected to close in the first half of this year, would help boost its revenue, customers and service offerings.
Patni shares were up 1.2 per cent at Rs 465.80 at 2.41 pm (0911 GMT) on Monday, in the main Mumbai market down 1.8 per cent.
The acquisition, the biggest in the history of the Indian IT sector, is valued at approximately 1.22 billion dollars. This includes the mandatory open offer to the public share holders of Patni. It is expected to be completed in the first half of 2011.
Nasdaq listed iGATE and its subsidiaries have signed a definitive agreements with the three founders of Patni Computer Systems -- Narendra Patni, Gajendra Patni and Ashok Patni and private equity firm General Atlantic, to acquire their 45.6 per cent and 17.4 per cent stakes, respectively, at a price of Rs 503.50 per share, amounting to a total consideration of approximately 921 million dollars.

Bajaj Auto and KTM have signed an agreement for jointly developing 125 cc bikes, to be built at Bajaj’s Chakan plant for exports to European market under KTM brand name. The first bike to roll out from this JV will land in Europe this year and subsequently in India next year.
Bajaj will distribute KTM products in other counties as well including Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Indonesia, South Africa and Brazil. The name of the 125cc bike is yet to be decided and the price of this machine is going to be north of Rs. 1 lakh.
It is news that the first launch from Bajaj-KTM will have a price tag over ₹1, 00,000. But not sure whether that bike will have an engine of 125cc or over 200cc.
