Siruthai is a remake of Telugu blockbuster ‘Vikramarkudu'.It is directed by Tollywood filmmaker Shiva,his Kollywood debut will be ‘Siruthai’, which has Tamannah opposite Karthi. Comedy portion will be taken care of by Santhanam.

The story of 'Siruthai' movie kicks off with Rocket Raja (Pickpocket Karthi) and his close pal Pattu Poochi played by Santhanam. They both are uneducated and belong to underdeveloped class of the society and hence their only profession is to cheat and pick pockets for their living. Tamanna plays Rocket Raja's love interest.

Tamanna has been given a role of a dim girl, who believes everything said by others. Rocket Raja and Pattu Poochi start cheating Tamanna and as days progress love flourishes between Tamanna and Rocket Raja. The first half of the movie will be hilarious and the onscreen chemistry between Santhanam and Karthi is sure to tickle our funny bone.
