The audio of Narain and Poonam Bajwa starrer ‘Thambikottai’ was launched today morning in a grand manner at Sathyam Cinemas.

The film is being directed by debutant R Ammu Ramesh who was earlier assistant to Jayam Raja and is produced by RK Suresh under the Thambikottai Rajeshwari Films banner.

Arya launched the first copy of the audio and was received by Jayam Ravi. The event was attended by Mysskin, Prasanna, R B Chowdary, MS Bhaskar, Sargunan, Kannan and others.

The film has music by D Imman. The other supporting cast includes Meena, Prabhu, MS Bhasker, Santhanam, Manobala, Aarthi and Rajendran. Sangeetha plays a powerful villainous character in the film.

Hero Narain said, “I play a youthful college boy and am happy to be doing a lighthearted script after my serious films. This is what I have been waiting for and this is a special movie for me. It’s my first full length commercial masala film and the star cast with me is a big plus.”

Director Ramesh said, “I am grateful to producer Suresh for his confindence in me, editor Mohan for giving me a break with his films and Narain for okaying this script and giving me this opportunity to direct.”
